Welcome to the Blooming of Buffalo
Buffalo’s gardens and gardening culture have been hailed by the national media, applauded by visiting writers and studied by other municipalities interested in emulating our success.
Garden Walks & Tours
Garden Walk Buffalo, the largest free garden tour in the United States, a host of smaller garden walks and events such as Open Gardens and the Garden Art Sale have made Buffalo a garden lover’s delight and transformed our region into one of the great gardening destinations in the United States. Garden Walk Buffalo is absolutely free – no tickets required. Hundreds of creative and gracious gardeners are looking forward to seeing you again – or for the first time.
Explore over 100 Gardens
On top of that, nearly 100 gardens are part of Gardens Buffalo Niagara’s annual Open Gardens event, which takes place on Thursdays and Fridays, for select hours, in July. While Garden Walk attracts thousands of visitors to Buffalo over the course of the last weekend in July every year, Open Gardens is low key, modest, more of a small dinner party that’s perfect for sharing a glass of wine with one of Buffalo’s famously friendly gardeners.
Stop and smell the flowers at one of Buffalo’s many garden events this summer!
