BUFFALO, NY August 4, 2017 – Visit Buffalo Niagara has hired two new staff members and promoted a third employee within its sales department. Jennifer Gregory and Jenilyn Kramer are VBN’s new national sales managers, while Dionne Williamson, a 13-year employee of the organization, was promoted to national sales director.
All three will work to bring additional convention business to Buffalo and Erie County. Gregory previously worked at Destination Niagara USA and Empire State Development and holds a bachelor’s in tourism & recreation management and master’s in business administration from Niagara University. She is also an adjunct professor at Niagara.
Kramer previously served as a sales manager at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo and Millennium Hotel, and holds a bachelor’s in tourism and hospitality management from Niagara; she also received her Certified Meeting Professional designation through the Convention Industry Council. Williamson is a Medaille College graduate with extensive experience in sales, customer service and small business entrepreneurship; her previous roles at VBN included multicultural sales manager and sales director for the SMERF/ specialty market.
Williamson’s new markets include corporate and national associations, which will include education, environmental and multicultural groups. Kramer’s market segments include: fraternal, heritage, patriotic, veterans, hobby & vocational, military reunion and religious groups. Gregory will focus on attracting conventions for government, health & medical, manufacturing/distribution, scientific, engineering, technical, labor union, trade, commercial and business groups.
