BUFFALO, NY April 4, 2019 – “A Well-Designed Destination” Showcases Village’s Visitor Appeal

Visit Buffalo Niagara has debuted a new video about East Aurora, “A Well-Designed Destination,” which showcases the village’s emergence as a great weekend getaway for prospective visitors.

The 7-minute video highlights 47 different attractions, shops, restaurants and other amenities within the village of 6,200, from Bar Bill Tavern to Vidler’s 5 & 10, the Roycroft Campus and Knox Farm State Park. VBN’s marketing team produced the video entirely in-house, spending 100 hours shooting and editing over the course of four months. VBN will integrate the video, which has already been viewed more than 40,000 times since its launch on Tuesday, across its website and use it when pitching travel media.

New and updated amenities in East Aurora – from the opening of 42 North Brewing Company and a host of new shops along Main Street to the continued updates at the Roycroft Campus and the launch of the Borderland Music Festival – have helped the village emerge as a weekend getaway in its own right, according to VBN President and CEO Patrick Kaler.

“We have an embarrassment of riches to promote in Erie County, and while the City of Buffalo has garnered national and international media attention in recent years, now it’s time for East Aurora to shine,” Kaler said. “The village has truly come into its own as a destination and we’re excited to share its story with a broader audience and encourage more prospective travelers to consider a visit.”
