Buzz Around Hamburg Garden Walk and Fair

Special features Visit Memorial Park to shop at our garden vendor fair. Pick up the map with descriptions of our gardens that vary from formal to whimsical, including sunny poolsides, shady waterfalls, rainbows of perennials, organic vegetables, colorful containers, and more. Don’t miss the Eighteen Mile Creek Overlook with its quaint gazebo and herb garden and the Trolley Stop, a village volunteer effort initiated by Imagine: Hamburg. Notice the lush plantings in the roundabouts, bumpouts and pots, provided by our volunteer committee known as the “Beauts.”

Canal Fest 2024

Canal Fest of the Tonawanda’s is the largest outdoor festival of its kind!  Encompassing 2-square miles along the banks the Historic Erie Barge Canal, 
this family-focused, 8-day festival is shared by the Twin Cities of Tonawanda & North Tonawanda in beautiful Western New York.  Nearly 300,000 visitors each year are drawn to its attractions, food, live music and premier events.

Buffalo Irish Festival 2024

Friday, Jul. 26th - Sunday, Jul. 28th

The year’s favorite Irish bash returns to The Outer Harbor, featuring stages of continuous Irish entertainment from the U.S., Canada and Ireland. 

The festival also includes:
• A kick-off parade featuring flags from the 32 counties in Ireland.
• Traditional Irish music, folk music, step and set-dancing
• Genealogy experts
• Exclusively Irish goods and crafts from nearly 30 individual vendors

Glen Park Art Festival

Come enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Glen Park in Williamsville. Over 140 artists, kid’s activities, food vendors. A great way to spend a summer’s day in Western New York with your family. Visit the Glen Park Art Festival! There will be over 140 booth artists, chalk artists, strolling entertainers, food from local restaurants, and children’s activities throughout the weekend! Make sure to come check us out on Saturday, July 27th and Sunday, July 28th from 10AM-5PM.

Erie County Fair 2024

Wednesday, Aug. 7th - Sunday, Aug. 18th
11 AM - 10 PM daily

The Erie County Fair, held annually is the largest fair of it’s kind in New York State, and the 3rd largest county fair in the nation.  It seeks to preserve and showcase our community’s agricultural traditions, talents, diversity and heritage.  Come view the live animals, and visit their caretakers.  Then head over to the James E. Strates Shows midway, with over 70 rides and 100 games.  Enjoy continual entertainment on a number of stages, then visit the food vendors, whose options range from the casual to the extraodinary!  Come for a day, or two, or more!
