Coronavirus Update

A message to our customers

Hello, everybody.

We’re normally sharing with you all the reasons to come and explore Buffalo. But this public health crisis makes it inadvisable to travel to our city right now.

Most events have been canceled for the next several weeks, the Canadian border has closed to non-essential travel, many attractions have temporarily shuttered, and restaurants have either switched to take-out and delivery, or have gone dark. This is an unprecedented moment for our city and for communities across the world, as we collectively do whatever is necessary to #flattenthecurve and end this global pandemic.

But while we’re down, we’re not out. We’ll continue to keep you apprised of our destination once public health restrictions ease and life returns to normal here. And we’ll eventually resume providing you with inspiring stories and travel tips about Buffalo—even if you just save them for down the road.

If any city knows a thing or two about resilience, it’s Buffalo. We’ll come back from this stronger than ever. For now, we’re trying to live up to our motto as “The City of Good Neighbors,” and look out for each other during these extraordinary times. We can’t wait for the moment when we can welcome you back here. Be well and stay healthy!
