The countdown is on. There’s only a few days left to solidify your New Year’s Eve plans. Guess that means the pressure is on, too. Your Instagram & TikTok need to make it look like you had the best New Year’s Eve ever at 12:05 a.m. on January 1. So how do you accomplish that feat? Grab some family and friends, and plan on ringing in 2023 at one of these events.

Buffalo Ball Drop & Fireworks

The City of Buffalo Ball Drop & Fireworks at Roosevelt Plaza, which is the second-largest New Year’s Eve celebration in New York State, will takes place at the Electric Tower near Roosevelt Plaza and will include a fireworks display and live music by Strictly Hip and saxophonist Will Holton beginning at 10pm.

Countdown to Noon at Explore & More

For the children (and parents) who can’t make it to midnight, join Explore & More, the Ralph C. Wilson Children’s Museum for Countdown to Noon! The museum will be counting down to 2024 at noon during this one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve celebration. It’ll be a New Year’s family-friendly day at Explore & More with magic, crafts, music, and snacks, ending with a countdown to our 12:00pm bubble drop.
