Diasters of Buffalo Harbor Cruise
Any busy harbor is a dangerous place and Buffalo’s harbor has been no exception. Ships collided, boilers exploded, and fires and explosions were almost commonplace. Join us for a cruise aboard the Miss Buffalo and listen to the stories of many of Buffalo’s maritime disasters and enjoy the scenic views of Buffalo’s waterfront. This tour is being given in partnership with the Buffalo Harbor Museum.

Urban Farm Day is filled with more fun and learning than anyone can imagine! Wonderful arrays of urban gardens will dazzle visitors, as the gardeners themselves enjoy sharing their love of growing.
The day features an entire yard turned into mulched gardens, instruction on how to have chickens on a city lot, and information on the jobs and job training some farms offer.
UB Food Lab hosted an interactive session about its work to ensure that urban agriculture & and urban agriculture policy & serves Black, brown, and refugee communities in Buffalo.
Join us this year for more fun and learning; pick up your week’s produce while talking with truly devoted and enthusiastic gardeners.
Even if you never plan to put a single tomato plant in the ground, you’ll find so much to enjoy.

The Martin House / Graycliff Experience allows guests to take in the complete story of Frank Lloyd Wright and the Martin family. Your ticket includes a two-hour tour of both sites and a boxed lunch provided at the Martin House to enjoy on site or take on the road.
Participants will self-drive to each location, and directions will be provided for the approximately 30 – 40-minute drive along the lake. Tour times are fixed at each location, and will start on time.
Path Through History Weekends
The I LOVE NY Path Through History Program showcases the historical and cultural significance of sites and attractions across the state. Held annually to promote tourism and economic development, Path Through History Weekends are a popular and integral part of the program, open to all sites hosting an event with a historical component.

The East Side Garden Walk (ESGW) is an annual self-guided garden tour that brings visitors who share a love of gardening into the gardens of East Buffalo. Now in its fifth year, ESGW encourages visitors and neighbors alike to walk, drive, or bike East Buffalo, learning about the resilience of this community. Visitors meet its gracious gardeners, experience its historic neighborhoods and wide-ranging architecture. Our featured gardens are an eclectic mix of private homes, community gardens and urban farms with participating gardeners ranging from school children helping in outdoor classrooms gardens to senior citizens, and everyone between. The free, self-guided walk encourages community revitalization and the beautification of East Buffalo one neighbor at a time. Equally important are the conversations among gardeners and visitors that bridge notions of differences.
