420 Fest at Riff City

This April 20th, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Riff City will transform into a vibrant oasis of music and harmony for the “420 Fest”. Featuring an incredible lineup of bands including Farrow, Uncle Ben’s Remedy, Folkfaces, Leroy Townes, The Night Shift, and Strange Standard, this festival is the perfect way to celebrate the day in style.

Thawfest 2024
Come celebrate the Thawing of winter at Buffalo Riverwork’s Thawfest & a springtime beer, wine, distillery, an so much more festival. We will have over 50 local breweries, distilleries and cideries, to sample from (with more being added every day). Live music from DJ Sike!

Solar New Year Celebration
Solar New Year is usually Celebrated each year on the April 13 th or the 14th. The day celebrates the Sun’s passage through all twelve signs, from the fire sign Aries to the water sign Pisces. According to the Hindu solar calendar, the Sun spends one lunar month in each zodiac sign. It is believed that participating in acts of kindness or offering charity on this day will help one eliminate all sins.
Countries that celebreate Solar New Year are:
India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Mauritius, Parts of Pakistan & Afghanistan and Singapore.
In addition, there will be a traditional Indian Classical Dance Presentation by Janane SethuNarayana on Solar New Year by Kala Seva Arts & Cultural Society, Inc

Each September, the Music is Art Festival attracts thousands of people from WNY and the world. This annual homegrown festival showcases art in numerous forms. The festival also has many family friendly attractions including our ever popular Kids Village, an instrument zoo and plenty of food and drink!
