Sarah Braman: Finding Room

Finding Room brings Sarah Braman’s monumental outdoor and domestically-scaled indoor sculptures to the historic Frank Lloyd Wright&designed Graycliff in Derby, New York. Braman’s sculptures celebrate everyday life. In her indoor practice, she combines found objects like furniture, doors, and pieces of scrapyard vehicles with colorful geometric volumes. Composed by similar means, her outdoor sculptures, made from the concrete culverts beneath our roads and buildings, are enlivened by the addition of colored glass.
