Michael Glabicki

Michael Glabicki is the mind and vision behind the popular and stylistic band Rusted Root. Best known for their Platinum selling album, When I Woke, which produced the hit song “Send Me On My Way,” launched the band into international stardom. This jubilant single is featured in over a dozen movies and TV shows, including “Matilda” and “Ice Age”.

Glabicki will bring his distinct vocals and blend of acoustic folk, rock, and world music in a trio performance with long-time bandmate Dirk Miller and Uprooted percussionist Keaton Thandi. They will take the old Rusted Root favorites along with new material and perform re-envisioned versions of them in our Drama Theatre, in an up-close and intimate setting.
