Art and Ecology Tour – Silo City

Silo City’s site tour includes a ground-level visit inside the Marine A grain elevator and over four acres of urban greenspace that helps tell the story of our post-industrial landscape, ecological restoration work, and how art and ecology come together.

Points of interest include Marine A, The Meadow, The Trellis willow dome, River Hill labyrinth and pollinator garden by Dara Friedman, and Again an earthwork sculpture by Marlene McCarty.

Tour guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the work that’s taken place over the last decade, transforming the site into a rich ecological and cultural landmark. From site-responsive art installations to earthworks that foster greater biodiversity, Silo City has a unique and ever-evolving story to tell.
