Spending a few days in Buffalo can be as leisurely an experience as a stroll through a park – literally!
Touting six Olmsted-designed parks and numerous parkways, Buffalo’s greenspaces are one of the city’s most unexpected treasures. Find yourself biking the pathways around Hoyt Lake in Delaware Park, stopping to smell the roses at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens in South Park, or getting soaked in the giant splash pad on a hot summer day in Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
If you really want to get out there, go take a hike to the majestic Eternal Flame in Chestnut Ridge County Park, travel back in time around the estate at Knox Farm State Park (a favorite for snowshoers in winter) or navigate the gorge at Zoar Valley.
So get outside and explore the beautiful parks of Buffalo and Erie County!
