11 New Eats for Local Restaurant Week
Western New York Local Restaurant Week has returned in full force for the fall of 2019. For visitors to Buffalo, it’s a delicious (and affordable) way to experience the the diverse and growing food culture created by talented local chefs. For me, it’s an excuse to eat out on the town more than I normally do!
At over 100 restaurants strong, this year’s Local Restaurant Week lineup may be the best one yet (full list here). From traditional Buffalo delicacies to fresh seafood, Asian fusion to Mexican favorites, you might have a tough time picking just one place to chow down. And while there are some mainstay restaurants back on the roster, we’re highlighting the new kids on the LRW block. Here are 11 places making their debut for the fall edition of Local Restaurant Week 2019:
Big Ditch Brewing Company, 55 E. Huron Street, Buffalo – Brewpub
Included in the Local Restaurant Week deal: Award-winning beer, juicy burgers, creative sandwiches, and fries with delicious special sauces.
Hooked, 5195 Main Street, Williamsville – Seafood & Pasta
Included in the Local Restaurant Week deal: Lobster macaroni and cheese, flavorful scallop BLT, Hooked’s special seafood scampi, classic spaghetti and meatballs, and Italian desserts.
The Irishman Pub & Eatery, 160 Main Street, East Aurora – Pub Fare
Included in the Local Restaurant Week deal: Bangers and mash pizza, fresh and zesty Buffalo chicken salad, corned beef and cabbage, shareable appetizers.
The Mansard, 3365 Abbott Road, Orchard Park – Fine Dining
Included in the Local Restaurant Week deal: Fresh and spicy crab cakes, jumbo shrimp, chicken almondine and creamy lobster risotto.
Pamps Red Zone Bar & Grill, 1492 Southwestern Boulevard, West Seneca – Steakhouse
Included in the Local Restaurant Week deal: Juicy 8 oz. filet with jumbo shrimp and lemon hollandaise, pan-seared salmon caesar salad and homemade cavatelli bolognese.
Park Vue Soul Food, 34 S. Crossman Street, Buffalo – Soul Food

Resurgence Brewing Company at the Cooperage, 55 Chicago Street, Buffalo – Brewpub
Included in the Local Restaurant Week deal: Burger and a beer including the RBC BBQ burger, plus a crispy fried chicken sandwich, beet deviled eggs, and sweets like an ice cream sandwich or cake donuts a la mode.
Ru’s Pierogi, 295 Niagara Street, Buffalo – Polish American
Included in the Local Restaurant Week deal: Ru’s unique pierogi creations like sautéed banana pepper pierogi with short ribs on eggplant and a sautéed potato ricotta pierogi with fried chicken.
