Madeline’s Christmas

Madeline's Christmas

Madeline’s Christmas begins on Christmas Eve in Paris when everyone is in bed with the flu, except for the ever-resilient Madeline. Expecting to see Santa, Madeline answers a mysterious knock at the door to find the Rug Merchant who has brought twelve very special rugs. Their holidays are filled with surprising miracles that get the girls home to their families in the nick of time. Before long, they’re together again for a memorable New Year’s Eve and thank Madeline for making their Christmas so special!

After each performance, members of the cast engage the audience in a conversation from the stage.  TASK Guides (Theatre Arts Study for Kids) are available from TOY’s website www.theatreofyouth.org where young people can also enjoy behind-the-scenes information, including photos of how the production was created.

Tickets for MADELINE’S CHRISTMAS can be purchased by calling the Theatre of Youth Box Office at 716-884-4400  x304. For more information, go to www.theatreofyouth.org.   Theatre of Youth (TOY), founded in 1972, is a professional company of adult actors who perform for young audiences.  TOY is the resident company at The Allendale Theatre, restored in partnership with the City of Buffalo in 1999.
