Fun at the Fair

America's Fair The Erie County Fair: America’s Fair returns to the Hamburg Fairgrounds August 6th-17th.  Located on over 256 acres in Hamburg, the Fair showcases great activities and events, top name grandstand acts, a mile long midway, delicious food & more.  of th

This year mark’s the 169th year of the fair.  There are hundreds of highlights, and plenty to do, so make a day out of the fair!  Explore dozens of buildings and exhibit halls ranging from Craft Village to the Historical building, Indian Village to the Agri-Center.  Check out the latest gadgets, cars and bikes and learn about science with the 4-H building. 

The fair offers continuous local bands and entertainment, and rides, funhouses and games for all ages.  This year’s grandstand concert lineup includes Vanessa Hudgens, Ted Nugent, Taylor Swift, Heaven & Hell, The Spinners, and Merle Haggard & Phil Vassar. 

The fair also has plenty of free attractions!  From a balloonologist to the talent show, a banana derby to the backyard circus, there are plenty of ways to spend the day and not a lot of money!  And don’t miss the petting zoo and live animals.  Check out prize-winning rabbits and horses, and dozens of others animals.
