Wright at twilight!

Leave your worries behind and enjoy the scenery of summer at two of the most beautiful locations in Western New York: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Graycliff Estate and Darwin Martin House Complex. Beginning July 11th, Summer Twilights at Graycliff and Twilight Tours at the Darwin Martin House will set the stage for summer.
Experience the five building Darwin Martin House Complex like you have never seen it before. When twilight turns to nightfall, and the lights come up in the pergola, tours at Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House take on a whole new dimension! Experience the conservatory, pergola and the classic Greek sculpture of Nike aglow with the setting of the sun. Enjoy a midsummer tour on a Friday evening: July 11th and 25th, and August 8th, 22nd and 29th. For more information, visit www.darwinmartinhouse.org
For those who would like to experience the beauty of Darwin and Isabelle Martin’s summer retreat, visit Graycliff in Derby, New York, a short 25-minute drive from the city. Experience the tranquility of a “Summer Twilight at Graycliff,” located along the shores of Lake Erie. This Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home combines the simplicity and calmness of splendid architecture amidst acres of grounds overlooking the water. Listen to the sounds of Lake Erie, the cool breeze rustling the trees, and the birds at night. Enjoy a leisurely guided tour, and relax with a glass of wine, with a selection of cheeses and summer fruits as the day fades away into the twilight. Summer Twilights at Graycliff takes place on Friday, July 11th and 25th and August 1st and 8th from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information, visit graycliff.bfn.org
