A Sizzling Summer Sensation

Taste of Buffalo

2008 marks the 25th anniversary of the Taste of Buffalo—the second largest food festival in the country.  On Saturday, July 12th and Sunday, July 13th, check out the region's best restaurants as they serve up some of the most enjoyable foods that the area has to offer.

More than 50 restaurants, serving up more than 150 tasty treats and 13 ethnic cuisines will participate.  This is a great opportunity to try some old favorites—and sample some new dishes and area restaurants.  There will also be several local wineries with samples available of locally produced spirits.

In addition to great eats, there will be live music played on two concert stages along the Taste route.  There is also an exclusive children's area with fun activities, an interactive playground and special kids-only entertainment.  The Taste offers something for every taste—and tastebud.

Located in the heart of downtown Buffalo, the festival begins at Niagara Square and runs north along Delaware Avenue to Chippewa.   It runs Saturday 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.  Admission to the festival is free and all food costs between 2 and 8 tickets, with tickets running 50 cents apiece.  For more information, visit www.tasteofbuffalo.com
