Blossoming in Buffalo

Join the tens of thousands that flock to Buffalo during the last weekend of July for one of Western New York's most anticipated events: Garden Walk Buffalo, and prepare to be awed by Buffalo’s hidden backyard treasures.
A free, self-guided tour of more than 300 West Side Buffalo homes and gardens within a three-mile radius, Garden Walk Buffalo has made headlines across the country, earning recognition in national magazines and newspapers.
From flower to herb and organic gardens to Japanese water and koi fish ponds, rock and community gardens, no two gardens are alike! See backyard beautifications from espaliers to outdoor kitchens, abstract lighting schemes and falling fountains, wall murals and sculpture, and playhouses to treehouses.
Several of Buffalo's notable neighborhoods, including Elmwood Village, Symphony Circle, Cottage District, and Allentown contain clusters of participating historic homes, each with its own unique garden. See Victorian homes, Civil War-era cottages, secret houses hidden from view and turn-of-the-century mansions. Homes by Frank Lloyd Wright, buildings by H.H. Richardson and parkways and traffic circles laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted.
Garden Walk Buffalo runs July 26th and 27th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.gardenwalkbuffalo.com
