Step back in time and experience the craftsmanship of 50 juried artisans, treasures from antique dealers, and artwork from over 80 artists at the Roycroft Summer Festival, on June 28 – 29th in East Aurora, NY.  Held at The Roycroft Campus – a National Historic Landmark – the event features a wide variety of handmade crafts and art. The event occurs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and is free to the public.

The Roycroft Summer Arts Festival is designated to celebrate art made in the spirit of the Roycroft Renaissance Artists; hand-made items created without the aid of contemporary tools.

Attendees will be able to view, admire and purchase Arts & Crafts works from over 50 juried Roycroft Renaissance Artisans. The selection process assures that visitors are offered both quality and diversity in the works displayed including: jewelry, furniture and wood, pottery, basketry, block and screen printing, etched designs, metal-smithing, stained glass, book arts, leather and many other unique hand-made items.

The event will feature over 30 antique dealers who will offer an array of treasured items and collectibles. The Aurora Arts Society will display the works of over 80 artists, presenting their works in oil, pastels, acrylic, watercolor, photography, sculpture and drawing. Additional highlights include music, food court, children’s activities, as well as demonstrations on letter-press printing, calligraphy, screen printing, and the repair and spinning of Oriental rugs.
