Thursday at the Square

Candlebox In what is being called its “most diverse lineup yet,” Thursday at the Square returns for its 22nd rockin’ season at Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo. With a new time of 6 – 10 p.m., the 15-week Thursday night concert series will run May 29th-September 4th.

The free concert series, presented by Buffalo Place, kicks off with Galactic, a band with a unique blend of hip-hop, electronica, latin, rock, blues and jazz. Other acts include such noteworthy performers as Jakob Dylan, son of rock icon Bob Dylan; the chart-topping Gin Blossoms; Mike Gordon, bass player and vocalist of Phish; percussion master of the Grateful Dead Mickey Hart; and post-grunge rockers Saliva.
