Classic Albums Live re-creates Led Zeppelin IV, one of rock music’s all-time greatest albums.
January 24, 2008 - One of the greatest rock albums ever recorded will come alive on Saturday, February 2nd at Mainstage Theatre at The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo’s North Campus. Classic Albums Live: Led Zeppelin IV, by the artists of the same name, will be recreated live on stage using some of the world’s best musicians. Regarded as one of rock music’s all-time greatest albums, classic songs from this record that have remained popular throughout the ages including “Stairway to Heaven” will be played.
Classic Albums Live is a Toronto-based concert series in which top musicians perform classic rock albums in their entirety. Classic albums such as Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run, and the Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers are among the albums that have been performed. As Classic Albums Live producer and creator Craig Martin says, “We're going to send the audience back in time to show the relevance of the music in this day and age.”
