Baldwin in Buffalo

In Speed the Plow, Baldwin stars as Bobby Gould, the author’s everyman/anti-hero. This sharp, biting satire is renowned as one of Mamet’s finest plays. Baldwin has starred in three Mamet projects on the big screen (Glengarry Glen Ross, The Edge, and State & Main) and this benefit reading is a rare opportunity to see him deliver Mamet’s legendary dialogue in a live theatrical presentation. This is Baldwin’s second collaboration with Road Less Traveled Productions as he previously appeared in 2006’s reading of the play Art.
Alec Baldwin’s current role as Jack Donaghy on television’s comedy hit 30 Rock earned him a 2008 Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. He has appeared for the past two decades in such award-winning films as The Hunt for Red October and The Aviator.
