Events & Festivals

Allentown Art FestivalWith so many events in Buffalo there really is something for everyone. Whether it’s Irish dancing, Polish sausage, Italian heritage or African American history, there’s always something to celebrate in Buffalo. No matter what the season or time of year Buffalonians are having a party somewhere, and hoping you’ll join us. We celebrate music with free concerts all summer long in downtown’s Lafayette Square and the annual Music is Art Festival. We celebrate art at the Allentown Art Festival and the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts. We celebrate our distinctive regional cuisine at the Taste of Buffalo and the National Buffalo Wing Festival. We celebrate our extraordinary architecture during the annual Doors Open event.

We celebrate the joy of reading at the Buffalo Book Fair. We celebrate flowers at the Garden Walk. We celebrate our extremely diverse ethnic heritage at festivals devoted to Greek, Irish, Italian, German, Puerto Rican, Polish, Scottish and African American culture. We even celebrate Mardi Gras with a parade, plenty of beads and Buffalo’s own brand of soul. We invite you to come and join in one of the many Buffalo Festivals happening throughout the year.

Welcome to our city of festivals. Join the fun.
