Farmers & Flea Markets
Farmers markets pop up all around Buffalo during the summer and fall as area produce growers reap the rewards of Western New York’s fertile soil. Some of the largest include the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market in the Elmwood Village, the Downtown Country Market on Main Street, and markets in the villages of East Aurora and Williamsville. Baked goods, jams, jellies, flowers and kettle corn are often sold alongside the homegrown strawberries, corn-on-the-cob, apples and tomatoes Western New Yorkers love.
And if you’re into hunting for antiques and bargains, block out a weekend afternoon and head out to the Super Flea and Farmer’s Market on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga or the Antique World Flea Market on Main Street in Clarence.
