Clarence Shopping: Clarence Shopping

Founded in 1808, Clarence is the quintessential historic colonial town. A visit along its Main Street is like walking back in time with a selection of cute shops and cafes housed in beautiful 19th century buildings. Wander off the beaten path and you will find the tiny hamlet of Clarence Center, which is situated at the crossroads of Goodrich and Clarence Center Roads. Offering a peek into life like it was in 1872, the year that its historic landmark Eshelman Building was built, Clarence Center offers several boutiques, a restaurant and café that will allow you to enjoy a slower pace of life for an afternoon’s sojourn.

Antique World & Marketplace

There’s nothing better than diving into bins and bins of antiques and collectibles, to uncover that amazing find that your friends will surely be jealous of. Antique World is open every day with an indoor version, but our favorite Sunday activity revolves around “the early bird gets the worm”. With over 100 outdoor vendors, it’s the perfect spot to sift through vintage jewelry, furniture, chotchkies, antiques and more!

Clarence Center Coffee Company & Cafe

Searching for a place to chill and enjoy a steamy cup of joe? Look no further than Clarence Center Coffee Company & Cafe, a cute mom-and-pop cafe located in the heart of historic Clarence Center. Appease your caffeine cravings while vibing off their cozy, warm bohemian set-up. They are serving up tasty treats and coffee to keep you plugging away at your shopping day!

The Great Pumpkin Farm

During the fall harvest, Clarence farmers celebrate “The Great Pumpkin”, with a festival that runs throughout the picking season. Families enjoy hayrides, face painting, donuts & cider, pumpkin picking and much more!

Asa Ransom House

Built in 1853, the charming Asa Ransom House B&B is an historical gem. Feel pampered; elegant and cozy whether you’re browsing through the summer gardens or nestled in front of the fireplace, experience an intimate trip back in time.
