Beer in Buffalo

In the 19th century, massive amounts of grain came into Buffalo from the Great Lakes, to be transferred to Erie Canal boats bound for the East Coast. But not all of that grain left town – some helped fuel a strong brewing industry. Today, small producers like the Flying Bison Brewing Co. and the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery pay homage to this proud heritage. And if you’re looking for a trappist ale or the perfect stout, you’ll find it at bars like the Blue Monk, Colter Bay Grill and Cole’s. See it for yourself - check out our new video below!
