A pioneer. An innovator. A legend. In 2017, we celebrate the 150th birthday of renowned American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.
Wright’s mark upon Buffalo’s architectural fabric is significant and powerful. Behind only Chicago, Buffalo boasts more Wright designed structures than anywhere else on the planet. Here you’ll find his prairie-style masterpiece, the Darwin Martin House, a lakeside retreat at Graycliff, and several posthumously-built structures based on Wright’s brilliant designs – the Fontana Boathouse, Filling Station and Blue Sky Mausoleum.
