The Big 150

This year, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society and the Buffalo Museum of Science are all celebrating their 150th birthdays. That’s a whole lotta candles. It’s never been a better time to book tours into Buffalo. Student groups, art lovers, history buffs, seniors and all others will not want to miss this exciting time in Buffalo history. Many special events are being planned and the guides are ready to take your group on a memorable tour!
En garde! The 70s were fertile years for the arts scene in Buffalo. Revisit the cutting-edge work of that decade in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s “Wish You Were Here: The Buffalo Avant-garde in the 1970s” exhibit, on view through July 8.	Gross Anatomy Get to know the weird workings of the human body at the “Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body” exhibit at the Buffalo Museum of Science from May 26 to Sept. 3.	History Buff The Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society will be pulling out some of its most prized artifacts for a pair of sesquicentennial exhibits – “Origins” and “Ever After.”
