Located in the former St. Francis Xavier Church in Buffalo's Black Rock neighborhood, the Arts Center was established to collect and display fine art from the many houses of worship that have closed in Western New York. The former Romanesque Basilica church, has stained glass by the studios of Franz Mayer & Co. of Munich, as well as a wonderful mural behind what was the main altar.
