The Center for the Arts is the largest state-of-the-art multivenue art-presentation facility in Western New York. The 250,000 square foot building houses four theaters, a screening room, two galleries and a spectacular atrium lobby. The two-story Atrium Lobby is a 7,000 square foot area that can accommodate a standing reception for up to 2,000 people or seat up to 400 for elegant dining. The 1,748-seat Mainstage is capable of adapting to virtually any activity. The Drama Theatre offers an intimate space with each of its 388 seats providing an ideal view of the stage. The Screening Room is available for film, video and slide presentations. The theater’s small stage is ideal for lectures or panel discussions. The Black Box Theatre seats up to 185 in any configuration. It is fully equipped for multimedia presentations. A fee schedule and list of authorized caterers are available upon request.
