Marc Maron from "WTF Podcast" & " Maron"

06/20/2013 to 06/20/2013 - Maron has been a frequent guest on the Late Show with David Letterman and made 44 appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Marc Maron is the host of "WTF with Marc Maron", a twice a week podcast that is #1 on iTunes!
His first one-man show, Jerusalem Syndrome, had an extended off-Broadway run in 2000 and was released in book form in 2001. In 2009, he began work shopping another one-man show, Scorching The Earth. According to Maron (in Scorching The Earth) these two shows "bookend" his relationship with his second wife, comic Mishna Wolff, which ended in a bitter divorce. Moment Magazine produced a piece on Maron, where he was interviewed about his experience with Jerusalem Syndrome. When asked if he really came down with it, Maron responded, "The premise of my book is that not only did it happen during a short trip I took to Israel, but its been happening to me all my life."[citation needed]
In May 2008, he toured with Eugene Mirman and Andy Kindler in Stand Uppity: Comedy That Makes You Feel Better About Yourself and Superior to Others. In January 2009, a collaboration with Sam Seder which had begun in September 2007 as a weekly hour-long video webcast became Breakroom Live with Maron & Seder, produced by Air America.
Maron's stand up comedy act is marked by his commitment to self-revelation and cultural analysis. He is particularly known for relentless on-stage exploration of his own relationships, with family, girlfriends, and other stand-up comedians that he has known and befriended over his many years in the business.[citation needed]
In 2012, he provided the voice of Magnus Hammersmith in three episodes of Metalocalypse. On August 16, 2012, he guest starred as himself on an episode of Louis C.K.'s show, Louie. [9]
Maron, a television series created by and starring Maron for a 10-episode first season, will premiere on IFC in spring 2013.[10] The show is autobiographical, revolving around Maron's life as a twice-divorced sober comedian running a comedy podcast out of his garage.

Bert Kreischer of "Trip Flip"

06/27/2013 to 06/27/2013 - n 1997, Rolling Stone Magazine was looking to write an article about the number one party school in the country, so they sent contributing editor Erik Hedegard down to Tallahassee to spend a week partying. His finding was The Undergraduate, a 6 page article about one man-child, Bert Kreischer. Not only did it name Bert as the "Number One Partier in the Nation," it set in motion his comedy career. Oliver Stone optioned the rights to his life, book deals were offered, and a local Florida radio station (having read Bert's quip about wanting to become a comic) put together a comedy showcase with Bert as the headliner. Having never done comedy, Bert took the stage after three experienced comedians, and closed the show doing over thirty minutes of material. He was an instant success. He turned down the radio station's offer for his own morning show and decided to move to New York to begin a career in comedy. When asked about his first year in the New York comedy circuit Bert says candidly, "I got my lunch money taken. I knew nothing about comedy and it was clear to everyone, including me." So he did what he had never done before, he worked hard and within five months Will Smith,'s production company, Overbrook Entertainment, offered him a sitcom deal. A year later he signed his second television development deal with CBS, where he made his acting debut starring in the CBS/20th Century Fox pilot, Life with David J with Elliott Gould. Bert has also appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, VH-1's Nevermind the Buzzcocks, as well as host of FX's The X-Show, and as the star of his own show Hurt Bert.
