Pizza
If you want to start an argument in Buffalo, the easiest way is to ask a group of people where the best pizza can be found. Buffalo pizza falls between the thin crust of New York City pizzerias and the thick crust of Chicago. While classic cheese and pepperoni is the most popular variation, Buffalonians top their pizzas with an assortment of ingredients, including banana peppers, black and green olives, and sometimes, bleu cheese. For true Buffalo-style pizza, Bocce Club is a classic, and so is La Nova (known as much for their wings as their slices). Newer to the scene is the popular Just Pizza. If you’re looking for a thin, New York City-style pizza, you can try Zetti’s or Bob & John’s La Hacienda.
