Buffalo is home to one of the country's largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Two parades, live music, gallons of green beer and a warm sense of community make it a very special time of year. Every pub in town claims to prepare the best corned beef and Irish stew, but we recommend you visit South Buffalo’s Blackthorn, the First Ward’s Gene McCarthy’s or Elmwood Avenue’s Cole’s for the most authentic experiences.
