Elmwood Avenue
Festival of the Arts

With festivals, exhibits and openings throughout the year, Buffalo has an extremely crowded art party calendar!

The Allentown Art Festival has been a highlight of Buffalo’s summer season for nearly 60 years. Lovers of modern art look forward to pushing the artistic envelope at the Artists & Models party produced by Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center each year. Squeaky Wheel’s Peepshow is always a visually provocative party. Photographers flock to the CEPA Members’ Exhibition. Artists and craftsmen put the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts at the top of their “must see” list. Authors and bookmakers love the Buffalo Small Press Book Fair. Tri-Mania at the Buffalo Arts Studio is an interdisciplinary mash up of music and art. Artists and artisans inspired by the American Arts & Crafts Movement can be found in nearby East Aurora at the annual Roycroft Summer Festival. And the juried contemporary crafts at the 100 American Craftsmen at the Kenan Center in nearby Lockport are considered among the best in New York state.

From the Echo Art Fair bi-annual showcase of artists from both Western New York and Canada to Music is Art’s celebration of local music, dance and art, you’re sure to find a one-of-a-kind, arty party while you’re in Buffalo!
