BUFFALO, N.Y. - July 25, 2012 - Today, organizers of the National Garden Festival announced the Front Yard Contest award recipients.

From July 9 to July 13, 15 front yards along Crowley Avenue in Buffalo (bordering the Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Riverside Park) were transformed by professional landscapers, Master Gardeners of the Cornell Cooperative Extension and teams from the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy, who donated their time and materials and competed to create the most impressive yards. From July 14 to July 20, the public had the opportunity to vote for their favorite yard, either in person or online at http://www.nationalgardenfestival.com/.
